Panache Salon and Day Spa
If you need permanent or temporary color, Carolyn is awesome and matched the color I wanted. If you need a profession mani, pedi, or acrylic; Rachel can give you a professional and relaxing experience!
Absolutely LOVED my experience here. Every single person working was very welcoming and kind! Not to mention my hair turned out fabulous! I was very anxious since I had a horrendous experience the last time I got my hair cut at Capehart Hair Salon. But Gabbie was very reassuring and did a spectacular job with giving me what I wanted and not butchering my hair. 100% positive I will continue to give them my business! I highly recommend trying this place out :)
I just moved to Omaha from STL and Peg was easily the most friendly/best hair stylist I've been too! She made me feel at home in Omaha AND my hair looks great. She did such a great job I plan to go back in a week or two to get my hair colored!
I haven't yet had a chance to try out some of the many services Panache provides (nails, massages, waxing, facials etc) but I did drop in today to get my hair cut by the lovely Carolyn!! She moved from the Garbo's Regency location to her new salon on Center St. very recently, and I am so happy for her that she is able to achieve her dream of having her very own salon. The location is right next to the Oak View mall in a little strip plaza, and the inside feels very spacious, as there are lofted industrial ceilings and a multi-level tier. There were no chemical smells from nail products or hair dye, so the salon was very well ventilated. Carolyn has always been able to deal with my Asian hair very well, and uses scissors that are razor sharp (she sends them to get sharpened often) which is what you need if you keep long hair and dont want split ends or damage from dull scissors. There are no real "Asian salons" that i know of in Omaha due to a smaller Asian population, but Carolyn knows how to work with the Asian hair texture. It seems like a simple concept but I have had my long hair butchered so many times before at other establishments- leaving those salons with more damage than help. She's a pro at haircut and color (back when I used to color my hair) and is so friendly and personable as well. I would highly recommend Panache to you for your hair needs, and I especially adore Carolyn, who has been doing my hair for 8+ years. **As a tidbit, I lived in Philadelphia for 4 years after living in Omaha for collge and would still seek her out during that time period on rare trips back to Omaha [visiting old college friends] to do my hair. THAT is how much I love her- she was better than anyone I had previously tried in both Omaha and Philly!**
I decided to get an impromptu haircut at this salon after searching Yelp for 2 hours. When I got there Carolyn was waiting for me. Carolyn wasn't supposed to work today, but she waited extra time to cut my hair. She shook my hand and introduced herself and asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. I decided to cut off a lot of my hair. 5 inches. Carolyn was always checking to make sure that I was okay because she knew that cutting off so much hair was making me nervous. She made me laugh and kept me at ease. She kept asking me if this is what I wanted and if she was cutting it right. Panache is very clean and the music made me want to sing along! I would recommend 10/10! Until next time! This is where I'll be getting my haircut in Omaha from now on!
Tucked away, yet conveniently located, Panache is a very clean, professional, and friendly hair salon and spa. Amanda K. gave me exactly what I was looking for - a blunt, chic cut to make my thin, dry hair look full and healthy again. The Brazilian blowout split end mender that she offered did wonders. She also gave me a lengthy scalp massage during my wash, which made my day. I haven't been able to try out any of the other services Panache offers, but since it's so convenient, I plan to get a massage and pedicure the next time I go in for a cut and color. If you haven't already, give Amanda K. At Panache a call!
